On April 26, 2019, the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) and interveners filed arguments regarding the AESO’s proposed changes to metering processes and distribution-connected generation (DCG) in its 2018 Tariff Application, (Proceeding 22942).
The AUC has issued decision 22293-D01-2017 on EQUS REA’s application to have FortisAlberta’s Terms & Conditions altered such that EQUS Distributed Generation (DGen) customers on the EQUS system are eligible for Fortis’s option M rate.

The responses to the Alberta Utilities Commission questions regarding the development of distributed generation (DG) in the province were numerous and varied. They spanned a range of topics from technical solutions to high-level regulatory changes.
