Court of Appeal of Alberta Decisions on DCG Credits

The Court of Appeal of Alberta has decided[1] to allow an application for an appeal of AUC Decision 26090-D01-2021. In this decision, the AUC decided that distribution tariff credits for DCGs (distribution connected generators) should be phased out.

Participant’s Arguments Regarding FortisAlberta’s Streetlight Investment Refund

Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) proceeding 27067 is at the stage where participants, the City of Airdrie, the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Alberta (BILD) and FortisAlberta Inc are presenting their arguments regarding who should receive FortisAlberta’s streetlight investment. FortisAlberta’s streetlight investment refunds a portion of streetlight costs in occupied lots.
