In proceeding 30074, the Alberta Utilities Commission Enforcement staff (Enforcement staff) filed an application with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC or Commission) regarding AltaLink Management Ltd., and the general partner of AltaLink L.P., a Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company (AltaLink’s) use of MacLean Power System (MPS) insulators on its transmission lines. Enforcement staff allege the MPS insulators violate utility laws due to improper usage.
