On January 30, 2017, the AESO hosted another information session on the 2018 AESO tariff application. The session did not provide much in terms of new information, but the AESO informed stakeholders that they intend to propose changes to the deferral account allocation methodology in an upcoming application. Alberta Court of Appeal Decision 2016 ABCA 333 deals with a request from the Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) to appeal AUC Decision 20271-D01-2015, which approved a FortisAlberta land sale and its subsequent removal from rate base, and 20990-D01-2016, an R&V decision upholding the first decision.
