TransAlta’s 2019-2021 General Tariff Application

On March 31, 2021, TransAlta Corporation (TransAlta) submitted its 2019-2021 General Tariff Application (GTA) to the Alberta Utilities Commission (the Commission) for Proceeding 26436. Within this application, TransAlta requests the Commission’s approval of Transmission Facility Owner (TFO) rates for 2019 through 2021, as well as TransAlta’s Direct Assign Capital Deferral Account (DACDA) compliance filing for 2016 through 2018.

EEA’s 2021-2024 EPSP Application

EPCOR Energy Alberta Inc. (EEA) is applying for approval of a new Energy Price Setting Plan (EPSP), which, if successful, will replace the 2018-2021 EPSP and stay in effect until June 30, 2024. [1]

DERS 2020-2022 EPSP NSA Decision

In February 2021, the Alberta Utilities Commission (the Commission) accepted a negotiated settlement agreement (NSA) submitted by Direct Energy Regulated Services (DERS). The NSA describes the Energy Price Settlement Plan (EPSP) that DERS will implement from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022.
