Court of Appeal of Alberta Decisions on DCG Credits

The Court of Appeal of Alberta has decided[1] to allow an application for an appeal of AUC Decision 26090-D01-2021. In this decision, the AUC decided that distribution tariff credits for DCGs (distribution connected generators) should be phased out.

2018 GCOC

The Commission has proposed to expand the scope of the 2018 Generic Cost of Capital (GCOC) proceeding to include a discussion of what should happen if a utility’s credit rating falls below investment grade[1] given that the deemed equity ratio is designed to support a credit rating at the A level.
