Having filed their initial applications towards the end of 2014, both utilities have recently submitted updates to their tariff applications. The proposed revisions are largely in response to changing economic conditions in Alberta.

As part of the ATCO Electric 2015-2017 GTA proceeding, the Alberta Utilities Commission ordered Canadian Utilities Limited (CUL), the corporate parent of ATCO Electric to turn over any documents related to their subsidiary’s (Alberta Powerline Limited Partnership) successful bid for the Fort McMurray West 500kV Transmission Line project.
